Lost in Lunenburg Rally (Navigational Rally)
Onsite registration persons are needed for our first NAVEX of the year on April 23. If you’re organized and have a knowledge of smartphones and related apps we can use your help. Contact rally(AT)pye.ca or use our contact form on this site to sign up and see our Navigational Rally page for more information.
These volunteer opportunities are for the Look Off Rally on June 11/12, and for the Trout Lake Rally on August 13/14.
Please note: The Trout Lake Rally dates may be shifted to Sept. 16/17; please watch for schedule changes.
The help we receive from our team of volunteers on the day of a rally is essential to a successful event. It is very much appreciated by organizers and competitors. BAC is currently looking for people to help with some specific roles:
- We are looking for an Apprentice Coordinator. This person will eventually spearhead the coordination of all the activities required to organize an event. They will be supported by the Performance Rally Committee (PRC) and another volunteer who handles the administrative side of things. This person will attend PRC meetings.
- Waiver Control. Everyone involved in a rally must sign a waiver. We are looking for someone to lead this important part of an event. You would a located at rally HQ for the full duration of the event and ensure that all participants have signed the waiver , received a wristband and fulfilled any current COVID requirements.
- Registrar. The registrar receives and manages team entries before the event and registers teams at rally HQ on the day of the event. The registrar checks that teams have completed all the required forms and gives them the documentation they need to compete (i.e. route books etc.).
